Born and raised in Marion, South Carolina, Shaun later moved to Amory, Mississippi, and pursued his education at the University of Mississippi, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. He completed his Juris Doctor at Birmingham School of Law. While still in law school, he began his legal career at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital’s Lien Unit, where he recovered millions from third-party claims.

Following a clerkship in the Domestic Relations Division of Alabama’s Tenth Judicial Circuit, Shaun joined Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys. There, he quickly distinguished himself as a relentless negotiator and become the personal Case Manager for Alexander Shunnarah, the firm’s Owner and CEO.
